This Privacy Policy explains what information Essencesia ("we," "us") collects when you use our meditation, sleep, and music app, and how we use, share, and protect it.

Information we collect

Account information: your name and email address when you sign up.
Usage data: which sessions you play, how long you listen, and your streak/session counts, used to power features like your weekly activity summary.
Onboarding responses: the goals and preferences you share during onboarding.
Payment information: if you subscribe, payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor — we never receive or store your full card number.
Technical data: standard web request information such as IP address and browser type, used for security and abuse prevention.

How we use your information

To provide and personalize the app (your Home dashboard, streaks, and recommendations).
To process your subscription and communicate about billing.
To send account-related emails (email verification, password resets).
To maintain the security and integrity of the service.

How we share your information

We don't sell your personal data. We share information only with the service providers that help us operate Essencesia, such as our payment processor (Stripe) and email delivery infrastructure — and only to the extent needed for them to provide that service.

Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is permanently removed, as described in our Terms of Service.

Your rights

You can review and update your profile information at any time from your Profile page, and you can permanently delete your account and all associated data from the same page.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser's local storage to remember playback state (like resuming a track). We don't use third-party advertising cookies.
